In ‘Ariadni’s Thread’, Giorgos Panagiotidis uses the violin as a guiding thread through a labyrinth of sound and silence.

The collection brings together voices that have personally shaped Panagiotidis: the uncompromising power of Iannis Xenakis, the delicate light of Kaija Saariaho, the quiet poetry of Tōru Takemitsu, the dramatic intensity of Hans Werner Henze, the clear lines of Paul Hindemith, the lyrical precision of Oliver Knussen and the playful imagination of Vito Žuraj.

Each composition leaves traces that Panagiotidis weaves into a single continuous thread - a line connecting past and present, tradition and experiment.
