Lucija Garuta's miniatures are like the vertebrae in the backbone of this album by Laura Zarina and Agnese Eglina, and, between them are works by women composers of the modern era, three of which were commissioned by Laura Zarina.

"For me personally, this focus solely on the creative work of women is revelatory, and I present it to you with happiness and pride. The works contained here are just a small part of the creative work of these composers - on this album, they form an autonomous dramaturgical experience as a space for the intimacy of the soul, the mind and the heart. The links of a few of these compositions with Latvian literature open an easier contact with contemporary music moods. With joy, I invite you to listen to these valuable moods, whose roots can be found in the closeness of the Latvian nation and its life stories." - Laura Zarina
