Orchestral Works Volume 2 offers a vivid portrait of composer Guido Mancusi, whose eclectic style shines through in compositions that combine humour, nostalgia and heartfelt storytelling. From the playful Scherzo for Orchestra celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Budafok Dohnanyi Orchestra (BDZ) to the tarantella Espresso ristretto and the spirited Rail Jet Expressr, his works reflect a deep love of symphonic colour and emotional connection.

Drawing on influences as diverse as Shostakovich, Britten, the Beatles and Queen, Mancusi is a man of the theatre, a creator and enabler of fantastic musical worlds.
