• Romances by Emmanuel Pahud and Eric Le Sage features works written between 1840 and 1860 by Robert and Clara Schumann and Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn.

• Despite the popularity of the flute, not a lot of chamber music was written for the instrument; this album features transcriptions such as Robert Schumann’s Romances Op. 94, originally written for oboe and transcribed in 1950 by Jean-Pierre Rampal (after which time it became a key piece of repertoire for flute players).
