Awards and reviews

Nov/Dec 2023

…Almost everything Kanabas and Heide do on this recording is in absolute alignment with the emotional content of the music; and, occasionally, their choices also announce the presence of the artists as unique personalities responding to the composer.

June 2023

Others have given us Schwanengesang with more light and shade and vocal variety, but Bauer Kanabas’s grand, imposing and moving approach is well worth hearing. Recommended.
