[Wanderer] Gaudet preserves the color richness of the score even as he delivers the urgency of its propulsion, tempering the motion with tender moments in E and A♭ Major that soften the aggression. The resonant lyricism of the Adagio enjoys a firm bass line, soon propelled by pungent syncopations and lulling arpeggios.
