…This is music that is light, easy on the ear, and filled with an imaginary set of stories for which each person can conjure up the vignettes. It is not progressive or revolutionary music, but rather quite entertaining. The performance by the Europa Galante is excellent, with good phrasing, fine intonation, and a wonderful sense of ensemble.
