About
In the spring of 2017 Saskia Coolen stayed as an artist-in-residence for almost seven weeks in the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology in Oregon. Her plan was to improve her old-style improvisation skills and the result was ‘Driftwood - A Gift of Time’. This album is made in a hand numbered limited edition of 500 copies. The packaging features Margriet Oomen’s art inspired by Saskia Coolen’s improvi- sations. It also includes six leporellos with Oomen’s art works specially created for this album.
