Trio Chausson is so thoroughly musical and plays with such sympathy among its members that without grabbing the limelight, each musician feels like a soloist. This is a good place to compliment the very fine recorded sound, which considerably surpasses my classic favorites...I expect that this release will wind up near the top of my new Beethoven favorites by year’s end. Warmly recommended.
