About
"Edoardo di Capua’s Neapolitan song ""O sole mio"", a hit tune from the 1890s, reached far
beyond the alps. The Austrian tenor Julius Patzak, entirely self-taught as a singer, was already a noted member of the Munich Staatsoper ensemble when he recorded this enchanting German-language version."
