About
Robert Groslot’s music reveals the complex personality of the composer, pianist, and conductor born in Mechelen, Belgium, in 1951. The three works recorded here – empathically interpreted by the two cellists, Ilia Yourivich Laporev and Ilia Laporev jr, and pianist Dasha Moroz – point to each other through their connection to spoken language, something that is also reflected in a few of the titles.
