This was the first ever collection of Welsh male choirs to be released on CD. Originally released in 1987, it has been digitally re-mastered for this new edition. As well as some of the best recordings made by Wales’ most famous choirs during their heyday – including Rhos, Pendyrus, Pontarddulais and Morriston Orpheys – this anthology also includes tracks from two of the best recordings ever made of the combined male choirs of North Wales; one at the Deeside Leisure Centre in 1979, and the other at the Royal Albert Hall in 1981.
