The catalogue of the works for violin and piano by Joan Manén is quite vast. His knowledge of the works by Paganini, Sarasate, Wieniawski or Vieuxtemps allowed him to compose works that in terms of difficulty are very often as complex as the works by these composers. He based his compositions on his own transcendental technique. His music for the violin is a true radiography of his virtuoso abilities. He was the main performer of his own works, as it is proven by the thousands of programs of the concerts he gave. instrument. In this album we’ll be able to hear Ala Voronkova’s impeccable interpretation that brings her talent, hands and violin to these exceptional musical compositions.
