Pori Sinfonietta conducted by Jan Söderblom is performing Palmgrens first three piano concertos with pianist Henri Sigfridsson and 7 short violin pieces played by Jan Söderblom and Henri Sigfridsson. Palmgren wrote piano music throughout his career, composing well over 300 individual items and five piano concertos. Not without reason was he known abroad as “the Nordic Chopin”.
