The names of the three artists on this recording are indissolbly linked for all time – Isaac Stern, Leonard Rose and Eugene Istomin and constituted the world-renowned trio bearing their names, which was formed in 1961. The trio ended with the passing of Leonard Rose in 1984. The programme on this DOREMI release is from a live performance in October 1969 and are previously unreleased.
