About
The Rabbits is an evocative and deeply moving story. Adapted from the haunting picture book by John Marsden and Shaun Tan, it tells of colonisation, displacement and, ultimately, of hope. Butterfly-voiced opera and pop singer Kate Miller-Heidke is the composer of the exquisitely beautiful score, as well as leading the cast in this live recording from the Sydney Festival.
The four-time Helpmann Award-winning production also features enchanting lyrics by Lally Katz, creating an opera to spark the imaginations of children and adults alike.
