About

Baroque music inspired by birdsong - soprano Dorothee Mields and recorder player Stefan Temmingh present a selection of magnificent and virtuoso works which not only imitate bird calls but very often also refer to the theme of love: from the nightingale to the goldfinch and from the cuckoo to hens, doves and various other birds.
