About
During his lifetime Danzi was famous for his operas, symphonies, and concertos, with which he revealed to his contemporaries a fantastic new musical world. The Ardinghello Ensemble introduces us to another extremely interesting aspect of his oeuvre with three flute quartets – a welcome CD presenting Danzi’s style situated between a classical feel for form and enraptured expression in its perfect original sound.
