About

Wojciech Kilar (b 1932) undoubtedly belongs to the most prominent composers of the present day European music scene. His highly original output shows a composer who proceeds along his own artistic path. This release shows of the choral side of Kilar with an outstanding performance by the Polish choir Camerata Silesia. The CD also has two examples of Kilar’s film music – Agnus Dei from the mini-series “König der letzten Tage” and Apotheosis, to the words of Shakespeare, from the film “A week in a man’s life”.
