About
A gradual is a book containing the chants for the celebration of the Catholic Mass more commonly referred to in England as a Songbook but north of the Alps, better known as a ‘gradual’. The Thomas Gradual is a liturgical manuscript from the library of the Leipzig Church of St Thomas and is performed here by the early music specialist ensemble Amarcord.
