Carving out her own path as a performer and composer, Ana Alcaide has played a pioneering role in introducing and popularizing the nyckelharpa in Spain. La Cantiga del Fuego is inspired by the journey of the Sephardic Jews and the city of Toledo (where she resides), which is why her music is commonly referred to as the "Toledo Sountrack".
