About
The Nightingale and the Rose was originally commissioned by the WDR Big Band and Symphonic Choir in Germany. The piece celebrates the different approaches of the Big Band and Choir in order to share the Oscar Wilde story.
Siobhan Lamb is a classical musician with a jazz music background, and having a degree in English and Theatre Arts as well gives her a unique set of skills as a story telling composer.
