Italian composer Paolo Cavallone is one of the most interesting talents on the contemporary music scene. This collection of his works includes pieces recorded in Rome, Buffalo, New York City, Arezzo, and Bologna interpreted by leading performers including Nicholas Isherwood, Magnus Andersson, Catarina Domenici and two chamber music groups: the Farben Ensemble and the June in Buffalo Contemporary Ensemble, conducted by Marco Lena, and Christian Baldini, respectively. The disc also features what is probably the last recording made by the renowned pianist James Avery.

This CD of music by the Italian contemporary composer Paolo Cavallone is the result of a collaboration with Rai Trade and the Centre for 21st Century Music of the State University of New York at Buffalo. The performers include Nicholas Isherwood, Magnus Andersson, Catarina Domenici, Roberto Fabbriciani, Lorna Windsor, Tony Arnold, Movses Pogossian, Luca Sanzò, Jean Kopperud, Stephen Gosling, and James Isherwood.
