About

Javier Farias’ music for Arauco is based on the text “La Auracana”, written in the mid 16th century by Zúñiga, about the conquest of Chile by the Spanish conquistadores. The composer is Chilean and his work commemorates the heroism of the land and its people.

Forestare is a group of young guitarists who commission compositions and build bridges between song and classical guitar.
