About
Philip Glass wrote this work in 2001, but missed the world premiere performed by Julian Llloyd Webber in Beijing. Although an Orange Mountain Recording was made of the work, Glass did not hear it performed live in the concert hall until 2007 when Wendy Sutter gave the US premiere in California. She has performed the work extensively and on tour with the Orchestra of the Americas, who accompany her on this recording.
