Made in the historic city of Bergen in Norway, the birthplace of Grieg, this recording features the small but superb Forsvarets Musikkorps Vestlandet in its role as the Norwegian Army Band Bergen. As the whole of the Norwegian Navy is now located in Bergen the Band has recently become a Navy Band and now wears Naval uniform.

This is an unusually varied programme featuring traditional and modern music side by side including some delightful Norwegian items together with music from Germany, Norway, Russia, the UK and the USA.

This is an absolutely top quality wind band and has soloists of outstanding talent.
