This CD is the first complete recording of the solo piano works by this composer. Le Beau performed as a pianist and was acquainted with Clara Schumann, Brahms, Liszt and Bülow. Her works were published and she was well known as a composer and teacher. Her works are now unknown but Ana-Marija Markovina has re-evaluated them and brings them to life for us.
