About

The harpsichord featured strongly in Maurice Ohana’s compositional work as he considered the instrument as being of the same essence and family as the guitar. In fact his first two works for harpsichord , Sarabande and Tiento, exist in alternative versions for guitar. This recording also sees the world premiere of Miroir de Célestine.
