About
Luis de Pablo, born in 1930, is one of the central figures in the cultural renewal that took place in Spain at the end of the 1950’s and this world premiere recording aptly reflects this. Danzas Secretas (composed in 2007) was commissioned by the Basque National Orchestra to celebrate its 25th Anniversary. Frondoso Misterio (composed in 2001/2) was commissioned by the Madrid Symphony Orchestra.
