Inspired by the classic Flamenco tunes and rhythms, guitarist Rafael Catala has composed a series of pieces brimming with the furious dance music and sultry heat of traditional Spanish music. Interspersed with his own pieces are those of Gaspar Sanz, Paco Pena and de Falla, making this an exciting and high spirited release from Gramola.
