A Study In Contrasts! Historic and modern instruments in comparison
TWO CDS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!
Period Instruments versus Modern Instruments – the debate continues. Hänssler Classic is pleased to release this fascinating document offering BOTH performance practices as a comparison! This specially priced, TWO CD set includes the same program, performed by the same musicians – one feauring a modern orchestral violin and a modern piano; the other, with a gut-strung violin and a pianoforte. The results are REVOLUTIONARY!
