About
Conductor Thomas Fey returns to us with another ensemble new to the Hanssler catalogue, the Schlierbach Chamber Orchestra, in winning performances of what will be a series dedicated to the recording of the complete Piano Concertos of Franz Joseph Haydn. Designed more as confections for the ear than as virtuoso displays, each of the concertos presented are vintage Haydn and are sure to delight every collector. Included is the popular Concerto No. 11 in D major, (with the famous “Alla Zingara” finale).
