These recordings were made in 1981, shortly after the Frobenius organ had been built in the chapel of Robinson College, Cambridge, under Gerald Gifford's supervision. The music of Buxtehude seemed a most appropriate choice for a new Danish-built organ modelled on classical lines, and for this re-issue the recordings have been digitally remastered, and two previously unreleased tracks have been included.
