About

With the present CD Luigi Alberto Bianchi and Maurizio Preda come to the last stage in their rediscovery of Paganini’s works for violin and guitar. The success with critics and public of their previous CDs (especially CDS 43/1-2 and CDS 294, featuring the Lucca Sonatas) prove that Paganini is loved not only for his violin concertos but also for works like these, less grandiose but equally fascinating for their melodic inventiveness and for the virtuosity of the violin writing.
