About
Following a number of other successful collaborations, Nils Lindberg, himself a native of Dalecarlia (or Dalarna, its Swedish name), was commissioned by the cathedral choir of Uppsala to provide the arrangements we hear here. Says Lindberg: 'I decided to make use of a number of folk chorales from Dalecarlia and to harmonise melodies for the choir in a fairly traditional style but to give the organ versions a more modern dress'.
