This high-quality 180g vinyl release on No Silence Records features a selection of 23 repetitions from Erik Satie’s legendary Vexations, performed by Igor Levit.

Vexations is one of the most radical and fascinating works in music history. Consisting of only a few bars of music, Satie’s enigmatic composition is accompanied by the instruction that it should be repeated 840 times. The result is a musical experience of extraordinary intensity, raising questions about time, perception, concentration, and the very act of listening. Later composers such as John Cage recognized Vexations as a milestone of musical modernism and the avant-garde.

This vinyl album features a selection of 23 repetitions on a single LP, presented in a gatefold sleeve.
