The performances here are excellent. Johanns, who plays in all four works...has a dark, appealing tone, flawless intonation, and plenty of technique. Triendl is simply remarkable. —

Poschner generates plenty of drive and excitement, steering the music towards a thrilling conclusion, reining back persuasively before the final acceleration... This is a tight, driven account. —
