BR Klassik

The BR-KLASSIK label gives music lovers all over the world access to the recordings of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks (BRSO), the Münchner Rundfunkorchester (Munich Radio Orchestra) and the Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks (Bavarian Radio Chorus). The label was founded by the Bayerischer Rundfunk in 2009. BR-KLASSIK’s high standards are well represented on recordings of excellent quality.

The label’s repertoire is further enriched by recordings with numerous renowned guest conductors and artists such as Howard Arman, Mariss Jansons, Ivan Repušic, Herbert Blomstedt, Bernard Haitink, Daniel Harding, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Sir Simon Rattle, Martha Argerich, Christian Gerhaher, Friedrich Gulda, Magdalena Kožená, and many more. More than 200 CDs and DVDs have so far been released. Most are also available for streaming and downloads.
