Hōzan Yamamoto (Flute)
Hozan Yamamoto was a Japanese shakuhachi player and composer. After working in the Shakuhachi Sanbon Kai trio, he began working with artists from other styles in crossover collaborations, such as Ravi Shankar and Gary Peacock. In 2002 he was designated Living National Treasure of Japan. He passed away in 2014, aged 76.
