Marisa Minder

Marisa Minder (Guitar)

The guitarist Marisa Minder initially studied under the supervision of George Vassilev in Sion in Switzerland and later under Zoran Dukic at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague (NL). She completed her studies with Pablo Marquez and Stephan Schmidt at the Music Academy in Basel/Switzerland, where she was awarded the Soloist Diploma. Today she resides in Basel in Switzerland. Since she was a teenager, Marisa Minder has been working on lesser-known works and composers of the classical-guitar literature. Hence by the age of 15, she had already become acquainted with the beauty of Hans Haug's compositions and later during her studies she continued to be engaged with his works. In addition to working on the compositions of Hans Haug, Marisa Minder is dedicated to other worthwhile 'rediscoveries', such as works composed by S. L. Weiss and J. N. de Bobrowicz. As a soloist, as well as a part of various Chamber Music groups, Marisa Minder has already performed in Germany, Belgium, France, India, Italy, Croatia, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. Numerous competitions and awards can vouch for her artistic maturity. Her CD debut was the world premiere recording of Haug's Concertino for guitar and small orchestra was released on Naxos in 2020.
