Cyrille Dubois
Born in 1985 in Ouistreham, the French tenor Cyrille Dubois sang as a treble in the Maîtrise de Caen and went on to study at the Paris Conservatoire before joining the studio of the Opéra National de Paris. He is particularly in demand for high-lying French roles such as Rameau’s Hippolyte and Acanthe, Offenbach’s Fortunio, Horace in Auber’s Le domino noir and Ruodi in Rossini’s Guillaume[ Tell, though his repertoire also encompasses Italian coloratura roles such as Don Ramiro (La cenerentola) and Narciso in Il Turco in Italia.
