Presto Music Hi-Res Streamer

We are proud to announce the release of the Presto Music Hi-Res Music Streamer, a dedicated piece of hardware designed to work seamlessly with the Presto Music apps. Whether you are subscribed to our streaming service or listening to your downloads and CD purchases through the Presto Music locker-style service, the streamer is a simple and affordable way to enjoy this music through your home Hi-Fi system. Several years in the making, the streamer offers Hi-Res audio at up to 24-bit, 192kHz. 

The streamer is a small box measuring less than 10 cm wide, that will sit unobtrusively next to your Hi-Fi. It comes complete with everything you need to get connected, including a power adapter for either the UK, US, EU or Australia, and both an RCA to Mini Jack cable and an optical cable to connect to your amplifier or DAC.

Setup only takes a few minutes and can be done through any mobile or tablet device that is running the Presto Music app and has Bluetooth connectivity (alternatively you can connect via the WPS button on your home router). The setup process only needs to be done once, and when the streamer is recognised on your WiFi network you will be able to control it through multiple devices connected to your network. The streamer receives data directly from your WiFi network, meaning that the app is only used to control it, so unlike Airplay or Bluetooth it won’t drain your battery whilst music is playing. It also allows streaming at up to 24 bit, 192kHz, which is far superior to anything Airplay or Bluetooth can support.
