Announcement, Presto Music's new look

To coincide with the 20th anniversary of launching our online shop we’ve decided to give the Presto website a few aesthetic tweaks. All the rich content is still there, and we are creating as many articles, reviews, and interviews as ever (in fact probably more than ever!), but from next week you will notice an updated logo, a new colour scheme across the whole site, and an improved menu making it much quicker and easier to jump from one department to another.

The changes should particularly benefit our mobile users where for some time we’ve been aware that the dual menus can be quite confusing to use. But equally we know we’ve been causing considerable disorientation to all our customers by not being clear on even quite basic things like whether we are actually called Presto Classical or Presto Music, (or for that matter Presto Jazz, Presto Sheet Music, Presto Books or Presto Instruments & Accessories); and whether our colour scheme is burgundy, black, grey or something else.

We know not everyone welcomes change but we believe this tweak is important as it will help us to become more recognisable across multiple channels – whether that be the website itself, on social media, through our apps, or more traditional advertising places like magazines and concert programmes. We need to be recognisable in order to continue growing and attracting new customers, which in turn will allow us to continue improving the site and launching new features and improved functionality.
