Announcement, New features added to the Presto website

We're excited to let you know about some great new features and functionality which have been added to the Presto Classical website over the last few weeks. We also wanted to offer a few hints and tips on where you can find some of the existing features on the new site.

We'll continue to add new features regularly over the coming months and years, so keep a look out for further updates. If you have any questions, comments, or ideas please do get in touch - we'd love to hear what you think.

Sort your search and browse results

Sort byWhen browsing or searching, you'll now find a Sort by box at the top in the middle of every results page. You can use this drop-down to re-order the results by Relevance, Best Sellers, Release Date, A-Z by Title, or A-Z by Label and Catalogue Number. (The Release Date sort shows the 'newest' releases first - so if you're browsing Future Releases you'll see discs with release dates furthest in the future first.)

Page suggestion links - now includes labels

Label suggestionWhen searching for a composer, work or artist you may have noticed a hyperlinked list of relevant suggestions at the top of the results page - for example a search for Beethoven 5 offers links to his Symphony No. 5, Piano Concerto No. 5, Violin Sonata No. 5 and so on. You'll now find that if you search for a just a label name, e.g. Hyperion, you'll see a link taking you straight to that label's page.

Quick links to New or Future Releases

New and Future Release links At the top of the New and Future Releases page you'll now find big blue buttons to go directly to New Releases or Future Releases only. You can then use the filters on the left-hand side to refine your results further - or search within the results to find a specific release.

Links to composers, works, artists, labels and series

Related tab links If you're looking for links to the Composers, Works or Artists included on a particular recording (previously shown as hyperlinks within the product listing itself) these are now found in the Related section. Use these links to explore all available recordings of a particular work, or to find other recordings by a specific artist or composer. You'll also find links to the Label and Series in this section.
