York Höller has enriched the international music scene with his orchestral and chamber music works as well as with the opera Der Meister und Margarita. In 2010 he received the Grawemeyer Award, one of the most prestigious international composition awards. A collection of texts and documents, the present volume is published to mark his 75th birthday. Containing essays and interviews of the authors Martin Zenck, Rainer Nonnenmann, Juliane Bally, and the editors, it takes a look at his oeuvre of recent years. The volume is completed with work commentaries by the composer, greetings of international artists and photos.
