Conceived and designed entirely by Joni Mitchell, Julien's Publishing is proud to present NEWS, the artist's first-ever book of paintings.

Over the past 60 years, Mitchell has created some of the most memorable music of her generation while refining an equally striking and distinctive visual language. In presenting NEWS, a bold and deeply personal body of work, Mitchell's presents her impassioned, response to the world as she sees it today.

In 22 compelling new paintings, Mitchell's uncompromising imagery and sharp wit skewers power, politics and global turbulence, in a powerful expression of the artist's undimmed creative independence and vision. This is Joni Mitchell’s vision of a world in flux – and a paean to the power of art.
