Limited edition 3-CD boxset with 24-page booklet.
Miles Davis (1926-1991) and Bill Evans (1929-1980) were two of the major luminaries in jazz history. During 1958 and 1959, Evans was the pianist of Miles' quintet and sextet, which produced some of the most memorable music of all time. This set compiles all their studio master takes, as well as all of their surviving live recordings together.
Included on this 3-CD set are the complete immortal albums Kind of Blue, At Newport, and Jazz at the Plaza, plus all their tracks together from Legrand Jazz and Jazz Track, and two rare radio broadcasts that complete their collaborative discography.
A further broadcast by the Miles Davis Sextet from the same period, featuring Red Garland on piano instead of Evans, are added as a bonus.
