The album 'One Night Only' presents an extraordinary musical get-together. For the first time ever, Dave Grusin and his brother Don playing live together on two grand pianos. They created a magical evening of music at the sold out Bayerischer Rundfunk Radio Hall in Munich. Alongside their own compositions they played standards such as "Straight, No Chaser", "Some Day My Prince will Come" and "All Blues". Dave Grusin was the founder of the legendary jazz label GRP and wrote music for films such as The Fabulous Baker Boys, The Firm, The Graduate and The Goonies. He won several Grammys and Oscars and worked with Bill Withers, Gerry Mulligan and Ray Brown. He is also well known for his work as a producer and arranger, collaborating with Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Sergio Mendez and Barbara Streisand. His brother Don toured with Quincy Jones, founded the superband 'Friendship' together with Lee Ritenour, and has recorded and played with many esteemed players over the years including Sergio Mendes, Patti Austin, Oscar Castro-Neves, Zoot Sims and Joe Pass.
