Trad Jazz
Trad jazz, short for 'traditional jazz', was a style of jazz played in Britain in the 1950s and '60s, itself a revival of New Orleans Dixieland jazz. The style appeared in Britain as early as the Second World War, with many popular artists of the big band era beginning in the trad jazz revival. Trad jazz musicians included Chris Barber, Acker Bilk, and Ken Colyer.
