Following the release of their Götterdämmerung earlier this month, the Hong Kong Philharmonic’s excellent Ring Cycle (recorded live in concerts between 2015 and 2018) will be available as a complete set from 30th November; the cast includes Matthias Goerne, Petra Lang, Stuart Skelton, Heidi Melton, Gun-Brit Barkmin and Simon O'Neill. The Complete Sir Colin Davis Recordings

Released in anticipation of the 150th anniversary of Berlioz’s death next year, this 16-disc set brings together all of the recordings which Davis made with the London Symphony Orchestra, including the Grammy-winning account of Les Troyens from 2000 with Ben Heppner, Petra Lang and Michelle DeYoung, and his second recording of the Grande Messe des Morts with Barry Banks.

The French ensemble celebrate their twentieth birthday with this 16-CD collection of music by members of the Bach family, Vivaldi, Marais, Lully, Michel Corrette, Pierre de la Garde, and Charles Avison, including the complete Brandenburg Concertos, the Goldberg Variations, and Der Frühling - an all-CPE Bach recital with tenor Rupert Charlesworth from 2016, which was described as ‘dynamic, precise and beguiling’ by Gramophone.

The collection also includes Mozart concert arias with Christine Schäfer, the Mozart Requiem, Bruckner’s Symphony No. 5, and Mahler’s Symphony No. 9.
